Biography
The Birmingham based indie pop outfit, LILLEBURN, matured into the next stage of their career after high praises of 2020’s self released track, 'The Dark', followed up by a lockdown release, 'Alyssa'. Frontman Ross Tidmus’ next vision of embarking on a self released EP birthed a marriage with budding local musician, Jack Cole, as co-songwriters amidst the pandemic. Whilst Ross’s influences of 80’s alternative acts (The Cure, Tears For Fears, Gary Newman) have been the blueprint for lilleburn’s modern pop sounds and personal lyricism in the past, Jack’s pop punk background (Cornflakes At Kelly’s) and influences (Green Day and Blink 182), as well as the duo’s mutual love for The 1975, manifested a new direction for the band’s artform.
